Effective November 1, 2007, Central Lewmar South has been integrated into the xpedx division located in Hanover, Maryland.
Their distribution facility is centrally located to serve the Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia print markets. With nightly shuttle service, the entire inventory of Central Lewmar's eight divisions is still available for next day delivery to the marketplace, augmenting the 2.5 million pounds of paper that is stocked locally.
With a complete array of coated and uncoated papers, this division specializes in environmental and FSC Certified choices, as well as economical private label grades. In 2004, Central Lewmar South was at the forefront of the environmental/FSC movement as they were one of the first paper merchants in the United States to receive FSC Certification from Smartwood. This certification was extended to all divisions of Central Lewmar the following year.
