Open forum blog site to bring design community together with unmatched content and features.

BOSTON, MA — October 9, 2007 — Sappi Fine Paper North America today announced that its new blog for the graphic design community, 24-7designheaven.com, is live. The blog will debut at the AIGA “Next” Design Conference in Denver, CO, on October 11, 2007 where over 2,400 designers are expected to attend.

With the goal of providing the space for an open forum dialog amongst the design community, Sappi, as sponsor of the 24–7designheaven.com site, is relying on its editorial board and the design community to populate the blog with topical articles and entries relative to current design trends.

“Our goal in creating this site is to provide a space where designers gain fresh insight and a voice in the world of design,” said Cheryl Shepard, Director, Interactive Marketing, Sappi Fine Paper North America. “Ultimately, this site is about inspiration that designers can offer to each other.”

In support of the design community, Sappi developed the Ideas That Matter program in 1999. This program awards designers from around the world with grants to help fund social awareness projects. Stories from past grant recipients featuring the causes they have championed with support of the Ideas that Matter grant will be featured.
